Field Institute treks are a great way to explore and learn about Zion in summer. Join a Field Institute naturalist for an introduction to the geology, flora, fauna and cultural history of Zion. Begin with an indoor presentation on many of the species in Zion that visitors never see. Learn about how Zion Canyon was formed and the geological activity still taking place in the park. Visit historic sites in the park and bring your camera for photo opportunities. Interpretive hikes are the naturalist’s choice with each program a unique outdoor learning adventure.
