Since the launch of Zion Forever Project last spring, Zions Bank has taken every opportunity to support the unprecedented fundraising effort which monetarily supports the park’s highest priorities in the Zion Forever Project 2018 Field Guide. As one of the nation’s most influential and generous leaders, Scott Anderson, president of Zions Bank, has taken personal interest in the Forever Project activating several initiatives, hosting fundraising events, and engaging with other leaders in the community to advocate on behalf of the mission of Zion Forever Project.

The Zion Forever Project has specific focus on the fulfillment of programs that fall under four pillars – sustainability, preservation, education and visitor experience.

“Some of the most coveted pieces of art have been inspired by the sacred and indescribable beauty found in the canyons of southern Utah’s national parks,” said Scott Anderson, president of Zions Bank.

“We are honored to celebrate our 20th Anniversary by hosting an entire gallery of talented artists who have miraculously captured the essence and magic of Zion National Park through their work. It is of critical importance that each of us do our part to act as stewards of this blessed land. We commit to doing all we can to support the efforts of Zion Forever Project, and hope our guests enjoy this beautiful, cultural evening.”

“We are humbled by the generosity of leaders in our community such as Scott Anderson,” said Lyman Hafen, executive director, Zion Natl Park Forever Project. “He, along with many others, have a bottomless well of energy and kindness. There are generations of people who come visit Zion who will never know the silent heroes who have helped create the breathtaking, memorable visitor experience for them. Our hearts are full.”

Zion National Park visitation has grown by more than 60 percent in the last several years, while federal support has been flat to declining. The Zion Forever Project provides funding and support for the park’s highest project priorities to ensure Zion’s margin of excellence.
