Gateway to Utah’s Parks
Since 1920 Cedar Breaks has served as the gateway to Utah parks. This “hidden gem” at 10,000 ft. offers one of America’s most accessible high alpine experiences, with world-renowned dark skies, breathtaking viewpoints, and year-round recreation.
600,00 Visitors, 650 Square Feet
Since its establishment as a National Monument in 1933, Cedar Breaks has operated without a permanent Visitor Center. It has temporarily used a Civilian Conservation Corps cabin to welcome 27 million guests. After 87 years of waiting, we’re building a permanent home for our next generation.
A Team Effort
With a 50% match from the National Park Service secured and concept designs in place, The Forever Project and our partners have committed to bring our half to the table. State and local leaders have provided additional support. We need your help to close the gap. With your support, construction could begin in 2021.
A Permanent Home
After 60 million years in the making, it’s time for Cedar Breaks to have a permanent home. View our PDF Presentation to learn more about the proud past and promising future of Cedar Breaks National Monument.
