JOURNALING INTO A DEEPER NATURE ZONE

October 6, 2018 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Spend the morning sitting quietly at two different locations within Zion Canyon and documenting sensory observations, thus creating a dialog with the immediate environment. The outcomes of this class can include notes for further nature study, sketches, creative writing inspiration, and a log of seasonal climate, plant, and animal occurrences.

Locations TBD; Participants should bring binoculars if they have them, good walking shoes, clothing appropriate for the season and changing conditions, sunscreen, water, snack, and a field notebook and pens/pencils for recording observations, impressions, sketches, etc.

LIMITED TO 8 PARTICIPANTS

MINIMUM ENROLLMENT: 2 by Wed, October  3 @ 12 noon or class will cancel. If you’re reading this past the minimum enrollment date it means the class is a go and you can still sign up by calling 435 772 3264.
