OUTSIDE LOOKING IN
Perspective is everything! Gain a new perspective on Zion Canyon by hiking outside the park on the Eagle Crags trail and be treated to stunning views from high vantage points. Your Naturalist/Instructor will cover a little bit of geology, botany, and human history while we take in the sights. A moderately strenuous hike of 5-6 miles in length starting at about 4,200 feet elevation and moving gently uphill from there. Limited to 6 participants.
MINIMUM ENROLLMENT: 2 by Thursday, Oct 8, 2020 @ noon or class will cancel. If you’re reading this past the minimum enrollment date it means the class is a go and you can still sign up by calling 435 772 3264.
AGES: 15 years and above
MEETS: 8:30 am at Zion National Park Human History Museum and continues until about 3 pm.
ACTIVITY LEVEL RATING: MODERATE 4 -6 miles with modest up and down elevation gain.
